Michelle Wie qualified for match play at the US Amateur Public Links tournament on Tuesday. She will compete for a spot in the Masters. which will certainly cause controversy if she is successful. Not only is it controversial because she’s a young woman, but also because she’s only 15 years old. In her young career on the men’s tour, she’s only officially had 81 pars, 16 bogeys, 9 birdies, and 1 period.

Tight End for the Miami Dolphins, Randy McMichael is facing charges of simple battery for the second time in a year for allegedly giving his wife a bloody nose. Four witnesses told police they saw McMichael throw his wife from a moving car several times. McMichael was upset because the throw was ruled incomplete, as he did not keep both feet in the car. If convicted of the crime, McMichael will throw a red flag across the court room to appeal.

Tennessee Titans’ top draft pick Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested on charges of assault and felony vandalism after a fight outside a nightclub. Jeff Fischer, coach of the Titans, was disappointed in “Pacman” Jones, and told him he will have to grow up. Afterall, he’s in the orange stage of his career, not the cherry stage.

The AL beat the NL in the All-Star Game 7-5. It was a very exciting game, but viewers were disappointed. They didn’t get a very good view of the last part of the game because by the 7th inning Kenny Rogers had dystroyed 80% of the camera’s.

New Orleans has agreed to give some of the money generated from slot machines to the New Orleans Saints. For the first time in NFL history every player on the roster is a slot receiver.
