Sports Suck

Jimmie Johnson won the Daytona 500. Casey Mears was second and Ryan Newman was third. It was a close race filled with lots of drama. At the end of the race, Johnson looked behind him, but he only saw himself since he had Mears right behind him.

Oklahoma State won a game against the Texas Longhorns in a win they dedicated to coach Eddie Sutton who is suspended with a DUI charge after causing a car wreck. In a tribute to their coach, the players won the game, sprinted into the locker room, and ran right into the lockers.

American Shani Davis became the first African American to win an individual medal in the Winter Olympics. Later that day he pawned his medal for 50 dollars to buy crack.

Canada beat Sweden 4-1 to win the gold medal in women’s hockey. The score was actually 6-2 after the exchange rate. The US women beat Finland 4-0 to win the bronze medal. It was the first time in Finland’s history that women showered after any period.

Charlotte Bobcats guard Raymond Felton was injured in a car accident when he was rear-ended in Myrtle Beach. Police suspect Kurt Busch, Bode Miller or Eddie Sutton as the other driver.

Ricky Williams tested positive for the fourth time in his career for a substance the league has banned. He will receive a one year suspension if his appeal is denied. If suspended for the year, he will spend it vacationing with Eric Crouch, Akili Smith, Chad Pennington, Onterrio Smith, and Grant Hill.
