From Deep in the RRBS Vault, It's Joe Redwood Circa 1999 Occasionally, our archivist like to go digging around in the RRBS Vault, wondering what types of incriminating evidence they might find. In their most recent journey, they came across some old footage from the gang's first attempt at making "Joe Redwood." In this scene, you'll see Joe as he prepares himself for his date.
RRBS Movie Premiere: Sleeping Socks Lie Finally, it's a new comedy short from the guys who brought you every other comedy short on this site. In this new tale, one man finds out what happens when your father finds the one thing in your house you'd never want him to know about. Sleeping Socks Lie is a story about life, love, and clearing your browser history. Get your Clorox ready...
Jon Marshall appears on The Rachel Ray Show Though it wasn't for quite as long as he had hopped, Jon "Joe Redwood" Marshall did make a quick cameo on The Rachel Ray Show. It was so quick in fact, that if you blinked, you might have missed him. To make up for this gaffe on her part, Rachel has asked Jon to come back on the show for a full interview, and even a cooking segment. If the screen capture from above is any indication, this is a show that is not to be missed.
The Newest Reporter for
Current TV Our very own Andy Lang (famous for his physical comedy, short temper, and "go big or go home" attitude) has found something else he's good at... reporting the news? Yes, that's right, Andy has become one of the newest field reporters for Current TV, a user driven site created by former vice president Al Gore. Sure, this may be another way in which Al is trying to shove Global Warming down our throat, but since he's letting Andy be involved, we'll give him a pass, this time. Check out Andy's coverage of the Grounding of ATA. Watch out Anderson Cooper.
RRBS Signs Distribution Deal!!! It's not just big news, it's REALLY REALLY BIG NEWS!!! We've officially signed a foreign distribution deal for our first feature legnth film "A Day in the Life of Joe Redwood." The film has been picked up by Lucine Distribution, a company that feels they can sell our comedic masterpiece to markets around the globe. As you can see, the movie poster has gone through a bit of a change, hoping that this new look capture the attention of potential buyers. And speaking of buyers, for those of you living in the US who don't already own a copy of the DVD, you can still buy them from us, right here on the website.
News You Can Use If you were sitting around wondering what Matt Thompson's thought about today's headlines, you're in luck. It's another edition of the only news show you'll ever need, News on the March. Don't worry, you won't be offended... too much.
Decide & Conquer From Matt Thompson's blog -
A lot of people ask me, "Matt, where do you come up with the material for you comedy shorts?" And quite frequently I answer them "I have no freakin' idea." And while that is the case for most of our movies, there are others that seem to ring true to a lot of people. Have I ever been in some of the situations depicted in our movies... sure, who hasn't. But the exact situations and movies those are, I'll leave for you to decide. We have movies about guys dancing in an alley with a homeless man, people riding stick horses to work, playing football by themselves, battling with expired milk and even accidentally taking female hormone pills... all of which could have actually happened to me. Is this another film based on reality, or just my own warped brain flexing its creative muscle... maybe it's be both.
The First Top 21 of 2008 After a sporadic 2007 in which Matt failed to live up to his promise to keep up on his Top 21, he has decided to do the right thing and kick off 2008 with a brand new, and updated list. This current Top 21 Hottest female celebrities comes fully equipped with new rankings, new reasons, and most importantly new pictures of his favorite Hollywood babes.
Thanks For Helping Us Rock The Vogue In case you hadn't heard, The Really Really Big Show and The Last Domino teamed up to create a music video for his song "Last Call" that was featured in a competition on www.Indy.com.
